Adventures in Roofing

The time has finally come. We are leaving soon, the next few days will be filled with packing, preparing and driving. Lots of driving. The new house is ready for us, all the utilities are on, the work is waiting and it is finally time to go. We'll be back every 2 or 3 weeks, so its not like we're gone forever, just most of the time. ;)

I am going to miss small town life. The city is always loud and busy. I will not miss the mosquitoes however. Spending time outside in the summer, without getting the blood sucked from your veins, is always nice.

I won't be blogging for a week or two. We will be busy for the next few days, and after that it may be a few more days before the cable and internet are turned on out there. So, in parting, I leave you with these videos to hold you over until I can blog again.

Trevor can...

Trevor can put his balls into his dinosaur toy all by himself.

Trevor can walk halfway across the living room without falling.

Trevor can clap.

Trevor can wave bye-bye.

Trevor can feed himself.

Trevor can spend an entire hour away from Mommy and be OK. (Mommy however, is a wreck)

Trevor can get through the baby gate.

Trevor can empty the dogs water bowl in 2 seconds flat.

Trevor can flush the toilet one hundred times while Mommy is in the shower.

Trevor can open any cabinet door.

Trevor can empty any cabinet of all of its contents before you realize that he has opened the cabinet door.

Trevor can go up stairs.

Trevor can empty the DVD tower quicker than you can pick them up and put them back.

Trevor can squeal loud enough to make you deaf for an instant.

Trevor can go to sleep by himself.

Trevor can spot a paci from a mile away.

Trevor can crawl faster than you can run.

Trevor can stand up by himself.

Trevor can tell the difference between a real remote or cell phone and an old broken one.

Trevor can write text messages.

Trevor can channel surf.

Trevor can sleep for 6 hours straight, although he most often chooses not to.

Trevor can find pieces of lint that the vacuum can't even pick up.

Trevor can be shy.

Trevor can do anything that he sets his mind to, given enough time.

Trevor can make me laugh when all I want to do is cry.

Happy Easter!!

We have had a long, exhausting fun-filled Easter weekend!!

Trevor ended up with quite a haul of Easter goodies!

This is the Easter Basket that Josh and I got him:

And he also got some cool old wooden cars that wouldn't fit in his basket:

My favorite thing that was in his Easter basket was this awesome wooden ball that we had his name burned into. I think it will be an awesome keepsake for him.

We visited all of the grandparents and great-grandparents this weekend and even managed to squeeze in a birthday party where Trevor went on his first Easter Egg hunt (with Daddy's help) and he found two eggs! :P

This is ALL of his Easter presents from the weekend put together. He made out like a thief in the night!

We had fun, and so did Trevor. Now we are looking forward to a nice quiet Sunday night relaxing at home. Here are Trevor's Easter pictures, taken a few days ago since it is absolutely pouring outside today. ENJOY!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Mischief With a Capital M

This is why the baby gate must stay latched at all times that Trevor isn't supposed to be in the kitchen.

*Translation: at the beginning what you hear that sounds like "Hi mla-ma-la-mla!" is actually me saying "Hi little man" and Trevor at the same time saying "MMM! MMM! MMM!" which is his new command for anything that he wants RIGHT NOW."

The kid is agile. And VERY determined.

We Have a Walker!!!

I think its safe to say that Trev is officially walking! He walks short distances from one object to another and is getting better and better at it by the day.

Excuse the crap quality of this video, I caught it with my cell phone but you get the idea:

I *heart* him!!

My baby boy is growing up too fast!
